  • Late Night Breakfast: The last day of classes calls for a special meal. Grab a late night breakfast before finals week from 9 to 11 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at SoVi Dining Hall. The breakfast is free to students with valid student ID.
  • Truist Research Symposium: Join UNC Charlotte faculty, students, business leaders and industry specialists to explore research ideas that drive business and innovation at the 2025 Truist Research Symposium, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, at the Popp Martin Student Union. Belk College of Business teams will share findings from studies related to AI, virtual meetings and social media.
  • Forever a Niner: All spring graduates and up to four guests are invited to celebrate their Charlotte journeys at “Forever a Niner,” a new drop-in commencement event, which will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8, in the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 340. Alumni communities, including the Black Alumni Chapter, Legacy Alumni Network, GOLD Alumni Network, Latinx/a/o Alumni Network, LGBTQIA+ Alumni Network and Niner Varsity Club, will be at the event to help celebrate all graduates.
  • Zen Before Pen: Unwind, recharge and restore your mind and body before finals at Zen Before Pen hosted by Center for Integrated Care from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, in Belk Plaza.

Golf regionals

Men’s golf won its first American Athletic Conference title, clinching an automatic bid to the NCAA Regional Tournament. Also, Pinky Chaisilprungruang, a freshman on the women’s golf team, earned an invitation to the NCAA Charlottesville Regional. She becomes the second player in program history to reach this stage as an individual.
