March 2021: Celebrate Women’s History Month at UNC Charlotte
UNC Charlotte invites students, faculty, staff, alumni and the greater Charlotte community to celebrate Women’s History Month. Throughout March, the accomplishments of women affiliated with the University — and the spirit of those who have inspired them — will be highlighted on UNC Charlotte social media accounts and other communications channels.
“This month UNC Charlotte highlights the contributions and leadership of women to who have taken to heart the adage, ‘If you have a dream, then make it a goal,” said Cheryl Waites Spellman, interim special assistant to the chancellor for diversity and inclusion. “They set for women everywhere a high bar for achievement, exemplifying the words of former First Lady Michelle Obama, ‘There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.’”
To kick off the month, register to participate in University-sponsored events that feature the diverse and far-reaching expertise of female leaders at UNC Charlotte, and corporate and nonprofit leaders from across our community, region and nation. We are pleased to welcome an impressive roster of distinguished guests.
