Support the ASC/SECC Campaign

College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Dean Nancy Gutierrez reminds us how important it is to support the Arts and Science Council and the State Employees Combined Campaign to strengthen and sustain North Carolina communities and their citizens.

“As a former ASC board member and long-time supporter, I know the importance of investing in arts, science and culture. A strong arts and culture ecosystem is critical for a community’s vitality now and in the future. Through our gifts, we can help ensure access to a vibrant and diverse arts and cultural community for all.

We also have an opportunity to choose among hundreds of organizations within the SECC that make a meaningful difference in the communities we call home. Allowing us to give back in this way is an area in which the SECC excels. Whether you want to support an animal shelter in your hometown or provide sustenance to those with food insecurities or help in cancer research, the SECC offers over 800 funds that make a difference.

By supporting these campaigns, we represent what it means to be engaged citizens who play an important part in improving lives in our community.”

If you set up a payroll deduction to support an area of UNC Charlotte during last year’s Giving Green campaign, a representative from University Advancement will be reaching out to you regarding your pledge. If you are interested in making a gift to UNC Charlotte you will have the opportunity to do so in the spring during our #NinerNationGives campaign. Should you have any questions about faculty/staff giving, contact Ali Merchant, development officer.
