Dessert reception to recognize award-winning, milestone employees
A new reception-style event, scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, in the Popp Martin Student Union, will recognize the 2018 Employee of the Year recipients and nominees and those who have achieved a five-year milestone level of service.
This “high dining dessert shoppe” reception will be free to all employees to enable more staff members to take advantage of the opportunity, said Katherine Tomey, employee award and recognition coordinator in the Human Resources Department.
“With the number of employees increasing considerably during the past several years, our goal was to create a more inclusive recognition event,” said Tomey. “Chartwells’ pastry chefs are designing the dessert menu for this special celebration.”
Employee of the Year recognition will begin at 2:15 p.m., March 28; acknowledgement of service award recipients will occur throughout the event.
