Dean’s Football Tailgate promotes recovery-friendly experience
It’s football season, and for Niner Nation, that means it’s time again to tailgate with the Dean of Students.
In its fourth year, the Dean’s Tailgate is a sober, recovery-friendly tailgating event, scheduled for 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Alumni Pavilion Lawn. The Charlotte 49ers will take on the University of Massachusetts; kickoff is at 6 p.m. in Jerry Richardson Stadium.
Hosted by the Dean of Students Office in collaboration with Housing and Residence Life and the Center for Wellness Promotion, the tailgate is open to students, faculty, staff and friends.
The Dean’s Tailgate promotes a safe, fun tailgating experience. The first 200 UNC Charlotte students will receive a free T-shirt. Free food, Pelican’s SnoBalls, a D.J., game truck and a photo booth will be part of the festivities.
