  • Prior to the end of the calendar year, individuals who receive wages from UNC Charlotte should review the important annual reminders, such as keeping your mailing address current, on the financial services website.
  • Join the Center for Leadership Science for a new speaker series Leading for Impact: A Science-Based Approach. The first session, “Gender at Work: The Role of Male Leaders as Powerful Allies,” is tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City.
  • University-owned, Windows computer users: if you are off campus, please log in to the VPN for two hours to get an important computer update.
  • Please update your campus work location in Banner to help prevent delays in processing mail and packages.
  • Johns Hopkins University professor Yascha Mounk will discuss his book “The Identity Trap,” which focuses on how the search for equality is harmed by the obsession over group identity such as race or sexual orientation. Register to attend this virtual event at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25.
  • Nominate a faculty or staff member for the Dubois Award for Accessibility Improvement, which recognizes outstanding faculty and staff outside the field of disability services who demonstrate exemplary support of or who work in accessibility on campus. Nominations are due by Friday, Nov. 17.
