UNC Charlotte to hold fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 14
Commencement brings to mind the culmination of one’s academic journey—it also marks a beginning. It is the start of that next chapter, either undertaking advanced studies or entering the workforce. In either case, it is a cause for celebration.
Approximately 3,400 students, along with their families, friends and others, will gather for fall 2013 commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 14, in Halton Arena, located in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.
The University will award approximately 2,330 bachelor’s degrees, 1,060 graduate degrees and 230 graduate certificates in two ceremonies.
The College of Arts + Architecture, Belk College of Business, College of Computing and Informatics, College of Health and Human Services, Lee College of Engineering and Graduate School will award degrees at 10 a.m. The College of Education, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Graduate School will confer degrees at 3 p.m.
UNC Charlotte will offer a live video stream of the ceremonies via the Web. Adobe Flash Player will be needed to view the video stream. More details are posted on the commencement website.
Residents in the Charlotte area can tune into a live broadcast of each ceremony through UNC Charlotte Cable Television on Time Warner Cable.
