Robinson to lead new Office of Assessment and Accreditation
The Office of Academic Affairs has created the Office of Assessment and Accreditation, which will be led by its executive director, Christine Robinson.
According to academic affairs, the office’s mission is to provide leadership and consultation to the University in its efforts to promote continuous improvement in student learning, educational practices and support services. Members of the Office of Assessment and Accreditation will help facilitate an institutional culture of ongoing and systematic self-evaluation and improvement and strive to be valued partners in the effort to advance practices in institutional effectiveness and assessment.
Team members in the office include:
- Cathy Sanders, director of assessment, who coordinates, gathers and compiles academic and academic support information for University accreditation and academic planning and assessment efforts
- Carla Eastis, QEP assessment director, who coordinates, gathers and compiles “Prospect for Success” information for University accreditation and academic planning and assessment efforts
- Beth Wemlinger, research associate, who analyzes results and develops reports to include student surveys and strategic plans for academic and administrative units to use in decision making to enhance program effectiveness
