- Several important changes to Niner Transit were implemented for spring. Visit the Niner Transit webpage for more details.
- As a reminder, health insurance deductions begin with your Thursday, Dec. 15, paycheck, and NCFlex deductions start with your Friday, Jan. 13, paycheck. If you enrolled in any of these benefits for the 2023 plan year, verify the benefit plans and deductions on your paycheck with your open enrollment confirmation statement. Report any discrepancies to the Benefits Office at benefits@uncc.edu or 704-687-8134 to provide adequate time to process any exception requests by Friday, Jan. 20.
- 49er Mobile ID is now available for all faculty, staff and students to access on their phones. Physical 49er Cards will continue to work, but if you want to access your 49er ID on your phone, follow a few steps to set it up.
- The Jamil Niner Student Pantry invites UNC Charlotte employees experiencing food insecurity to shop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12.

- Mandatory Title IX training for all newly admitted Niners (spring semester) was assigned Tuesday, Jan. 3. If you haven’t already completed the training, please check your University email for correspondence regarding this training requirement or use the following link to directly access the training. Any questions should be directed to the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX at civilrights-titleix@uncc.edu.

- Green Dot is a violence prevention strategy designed to mobilize students, staff and faculty to react and intervene in high-risk situations and engage in proactive behaviors to create a safer campus community. The next student training is Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m.
- Kick off the semester with Gold Rush, with events scheduled through Friday, Jan. 13! Most events are free for students and are hosted by UNC Charlotte campus departments and student organizations.
