Speed table installation continues
On Friday, April 13, work continues on installation of speed tables on Cameron Boulevard, starting at 7 a.m. Expect traffic delays and lane closures near Wallis Hall and the UNC Charlotte Main Station.
Exercise caution when approaching construction zones, and watch for flaggers to assist with traffic flow.
Kaber needs shared leave

Verret appointed director of Treasury Services
Greg Verret is now director of Treasury Services in the Division of Business Affairs. He had served as interim director since July 2017.

FM’s Phil Jones receives Frank Turner Award
Phil Jones, associate vice chancellor for the Facilities Management Department, recently received the prestigious Frank B. Turner Award at the 37th annual State Construction Conference.
CHHS continues to lead COACHE survey participation, deadline is April 8
The College of Health and Human Services still has the highest response rate for the COACHE survey at 56 percent with a completion rate of 51 percent.
Overall, the University has a 38 percent response rate by faculty members; the goal is to attain a 50 percent response rate. The current completion rate is 32 percent
REAL ID option for state-issued driver licenses
The U.S. Congress recently passed the REAL ID Act, which requires states to issue a form of identification with higher security standards.
North Carolina, along with many other states, is incorporating the concept into state-issued driver licenses. REAL ID licenses will be marked with a gold star, while regular licenses will carry a “not for federal identification” disclaimer.
