Rogelberg to deliver inaugural ‘Nuggets of Knowledge’ presentation
Steven Rogelberg, professor and director of UNC Charlotte’s Organizational Science program, will be the inaugural speaker for the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association’s Bonnie Cone Faculty Speaker Series “Nuggets of Knowledge.”
Rogelberg will discuss “The Power of One’s thoughts: A Look Inside the Executive Mind to Promote Effectiveness, Innovation and Well-Being,” from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, 222 S. Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte.
Designated by the UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees as the first “University Professor” for distinguished national, international and interdisciplinary contributions, Rogelberg has authored more than 80 publications that address issues such as team effectiveness, leadership, engagement, health and employee well-being, meetings at work and organizational research methods. He is the editor of the Journal of Business and Psychology and the “Talent Management Essentials” book series.

The next “Nuggets of Knowledge” is set for Jan. 21, 2015; it will feature Vivian Lord, professor of criminal justice and criminology.
