Former Joint Chiefs of Staff member to talk

Retired Col. Mark Mykleby will speak at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, in the Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room, as part of the seventh annual International Speaker Series.

Now a senior fellow at the New American Foundation and co-director at the Strategic Innovation Lab at Case Western Reserve University, Mykleby will discuss strategies to meet current global issues with sustainability as a guiding principle in his Jan. 22 remarks. Following the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session with attendees.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mykleby earned a Master of Military Studies from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College in 1999. In May 2007, he earned a Master of Strategic Studies from the Air War College.
