Local entrepreneur to discuss ‘Her Story, Her Journey’
Dee Dixon, a successful Charlotte entrepreneur, will present “Her Story, Her Journey” at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, in the Halton Reading Room of the J. Murrey Atkins Library in celebration of Black History Month.
Dixon leads a growing family business. She has built Pride Magazine into a voice for the Queen City. Pride Communications, Dixon’s umbrella company, is engaged in a variety of public relations and marketing ventures, including the Pride Sunset Jazz Series and the Pride Awards Gala. Both events have been recognized for their promotion of diversity, cultural awareness and financial support of charitable causes.
