Native plants restoration project topic today’s ‘Live Wire’

Biology major Ian O’Shaughnessy and Assistant Professor of Biology Adam Reitzel will discuss O’Shaughnessy’s extra credit project, turned biodiversity initiative that has the potential for major impact. O’Shaughnessy pulled together a plan and a team to convert eroding land around Parking Lot 27 near Harris Alumni Center into a space featuring native plants. He worked with a variety of people from the community and on campus to make the project a reality.
