University Career Center’s annual Majors Day scheduled

The University Career Center will hold Majors Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Cone University Center, Lucas Room.

Majors Day is an annual event that helps UNC Charlotte students explore many of the 80-plus undergraduate majors and minors that the University offers, said Career Center officials. Faculty, advisors and current students representing all of the University’s academic colleges will be on hand to discuss programs.

All UNC Charlotte students, especially those exploring their academic options, are encouraged to attend Majors Day. Beyond learning about various undergraduate majors and minors, attendees will be able to meet one-on-one with an academic advisor from the University Advising Center or a career advisor from the University Career Center.

Career Center officials add that Majors Day is an excellent way for departments to increase awareness of their programs. Faculty and staff can see the list of departments registered to attend, and it is not too late to register additional departments.
