UNC Charlotte weekend at Levine Museum
Through a partnership between UNC Charlotte and the Levine Museum of the New South, faculty, staff, students and alumni will be able to visit the museum for free Friday and Saturday, April 8 and 9, during the museum’s regular business hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Employees and students will need a valid University ID; alums are eligible if they have signed up for the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association PERKS program or registered to attend the Alumniner Weekend. Prospective attendees also can register online.
Steve Bentley, activing president of the Levine Museum, said, “We are thrilled to host ‘UNC Charlotte Weekend at the Levine Museum of the New South.’ This is just another great and affordable opportunity to welcome our friends from the University to come visit the museum and view the wonderful exhibits that we are currently featuring.”
“Cotton Fields to Skyscrapers,” “NUEVOLUTION – Latinos and the New South” and “We Are the Music Makers” are on display at the Levine Museum.
Friends and family members of employees, students and alums can participate for a discounted rate of $6 for adults and $5 for children (ages 6 to 18). Children age 5 and younger are free.
