Hadzikadic to moderate panel discussion
Mirsad Hadzikadic, executive director of the Data Science Initiative and director of the Complex Systems Institute, will moderate “Ideology, Conflict and Hope: The Bosnia Project” at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 26.
Sponsored by the Echo Foundation, this panel discussion will feature Aleksandar Hemon, author of “The Lazarus Project” and a recipient of a “genius grant” from the MacArthur Foundation; Ron Haviv, an award-winning photojournalist and co-founder of the photo agency VII, which is dedicated to documenting conflict and raising awareness about human rights issues around the globe; and Elisabeth Zerofsky, who is on the editorial staff of the New Yorker, where she has written extensively on French affairs and more recently Bosnia.
Haris Hrle, ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina to the United States, will be a special guest at the event.
