Camo Classic to highlight veterans on campus

The Veteran Services Office and the Dean of Students Office will host the 2017 Camo Classic, an annual competition to highlight veterans across campus.
At the classic, scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, April, it will be veteran students versus cadets from the University’s Army and Air Force ROTC in a series of team and individual competitions, including tug-of-war, timed relays, a scavenger hunt, a fire-starting competition and a pie-eating contest at the Cato Plaza. (Note, the date is a change from previous reports.)
Now in its fourth year at UNC Charlotte, Camo Classic is an opportunity for veterans, faculty, staff and their families to experience a morning of team-building, recognition, comradery and spirited competition.
Contest judges are being recruited, and there will be a free prize raffle giveaway and beverages. RSVPs are not required for this event.
