‘Take Control of Your Digital Footprint’ scheduled
Clark Walton will present “Take Control of Your Digital Footprint” at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, in the Cone University Center, Room 113.
In his presentation, Walton will speak to the computer evidence people leave behind and how it is used in the courtroom.
After completing an undergraduate degree in mathematics from UNC Chapel Hill, Walton earned a law degree from Georgetown University. He is a former cyber threat analyst and technical project manager for the Central Intelligence Agency, having served there from 2000 to 2005. More recently, he worked as an associate for the international law firm of Mayer Brown LLP and served as both an assistant district attorney in Mecklenburg County and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of North Carolina.
