Summer blood drive will help save lives

Keith Wassum, associate vice chancellor for business services, is an advocate for University-hosted blood drives. On Thursday, June 20, the American Red Cross will be in the food court area of Barnhardt Student Activity Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and he is urging faculty and staff to join him in donating.
Wassum, who is retiring from the University in July, said, “For my send-off, I would like this year’s summer blood drive to achieve 100 donors. I hope employees who are able and willing will join me in donating and that they encourage colleagues to do the same.”
Walk-in donors are welcome; participants can make a reservation online.
