Music Department to hold annual piano sale
During the past academic year, the University’s Department of Music has had access to first-class standard and digital pianos through an association with the Rockley Family Foundation.
To perpetuate this program, these instruments, along with those provided other institutions, will be sold at the Robinson Hall for the Performing Arts.
Individuals can make an appointment to attend a “pre-sale” Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 1-3, by calling 704-661-2792.
The final sale will be 2 to 5 p.m., Aug. 3, and no appointment is required to attend.
A large selection of grand, baby grand, digital player grand and digital pianos will be available from a number of manufacturers, including Steinway and Sons, Yamaha, Kawai, Cable Nelson, Story and Clark, Pearl River, Disklavier and Clavinova. Most instruments are less than a year old and are tuned and ready to go and include a full factory warranty.
