Why I give – Anne Cooper Moore
As dean of the J. Murrey Atkins Library, Anne Cooper Moore leads library services on campus. She has worked at UNC Charlotte for more than four years.
Moore said while everyone should give to the charities of their choice, giving to the UNC Charlotte Foundation “helps us do more for students, faculty and staff and makes UNC Charlotte the best it can be. If we each give what we are able, we will be a stronger University and place to work, and help our students succeed with their educational and life goals. Giving to the Arts & Science Council, which fits perfectly with the educational and community-engagement role of UNC Charlotte, helps enrich the cultural activities of Charlotte and surrounding communities.”
The 2019 Giving Green campaign to benefit the UNC Charlotte Foundation and Arts & Science Council continues. During the campaign, Inside UNC Charlotte is featuring faculty and staff members who participate in Giving Green to talk about the importance of philanthropy. Employees can stretch their contributions throughout the upcoming calendar year with payroll deduction.
