Employee Engagement Survey underway
UNC Charlotte is participating in the UNC System-wide Employee Engagement Survey, which launched Tuesday, Feb. 4. All permanent employees at the University received the survey from “ModernThink” via email and are encouraged to participate. The deadline to complete the survey is Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020.
This year’s request is part of a regularly scheduled survey on workplace satisfaction that began in 2018 and will be repeated every two years at all UNC System institutions as part of the UNC System Strategic Plan. Among the topics included in the survey are: collaboration, communication, supervision, workplace culture, diversity and benefits.
According to an introductory email from Chancellor Philip L. Dubois, “The data we receive through this program will provide us with valuable, useful and actionable information to advocate for enhancements to the University’s work environment and to achieve our goal of recruiting, retaining and developing the most talented and diverse workforce possible.”
Employees are encouraged to make time in their workdays to share their feedback. All responses are confidential, and participation is voluntary. Results are expected sometime this summer.
