Education alumna named Teacher of the Year

Cato College of Education alumna Emily Wagoner ’14 is the 2019-20 Cabarrus County Schools Teacher of the Year.

Wagoner, who earned a dual degree in special education and elementary education, was presented the award during a surprise ceremony on her front lawn. She is a third-grade teacher at R. Brown McAllister Elementary and was the youngest of five nominees. Read more
