FM staff member Tony Menton has died
Tony Menton, a supervisor with Building Environmental Services and Recycling (BES&R), died May 9.
Menton, 56, joined the University in October 2009 as a floor care technician on the main campus before transferring to The Dubois Center at Center City to lead floor care efforts and take on supervisory responsibilities.
“Tony has been a valued member of the BES&R team and his humorous and good nature will be dearly missed,” said Brian Guns, director of Building Environmental Services and Recycling. “Many worked closely with Tony over the years and know firsthand of his great professionalism and the personal touch he had regarding his interactions with others.”
A funeral service will be Sunday, May 16, at Carolina Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 618 Smith St., Kannapolis, North Carolina. Visitation is at 10 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. View the obituary on the Clark Funeral Home website.
