• Register for the Tuesday, Sept. 12, “Guarded by Two Jaguars: Personally Speaking” with Associate Professor Eric Hoenes del Pinal, along with other important updates in this week’s Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest.
• The campus-wide Zoom phone migration will be Tuesday, Dec. 19.
• Reminder: The UNC Charlotte Graduate School is debuting a new, college-focused organizational structure that provides students, faculty and staff a single point of contact for questions and support for all graduate academic services.
• The Office of Undergraduate Research is accepting submissions for faculty project descriptions for the spring 2024 program. The deadline is Friday, Sept. 15.
• Alumni campus employees are invited to the 49er ACE Awards and Appreciation Lunch Monday, Oct. 9. Hosted by the 49er Alumni Campus Employee Network, the event is free for alumni campus employees and $10 for all others.

• Drop by makerspace and entrepreneurial spots on campus during tomorrow’s Maker Crawl to learn about what they have to offer, who can use the spaces and what you can do there.
• Friday, Sept. 15, is the Fall Career and Internship Fair with 200-plus employers focused on a wide range of full-time jobs and internships. Open to all majors and class levels (UNC Charlotte students and alumni).
