- UNC Charlotte’s campus is home to a piece of 9/11 history, helping the community honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost 22 years ago at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and aboard United Airlines Flight 93.
- A 49er Mart virtual forum is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28. Registration is encouraged on the Learning and Development Portal and more information is on the 49er Mart message board.
- Reminder: Self Service Banner upgrade for faculty and advisors, students and registration, with new and improved functionality, will go live Saturday, Sept.16. Join a virtual training session to learn about the new features in the upgrade.

- In recognition of Suicide Prevention Week, Counseling and Psychological Services will highlight different resources and how to respond to someone who is experiencing a mental health crisis. Visit the CAPS website for more information.
- Join Venture Outdoor Leadership for a day of rock climbing at Rocky Face Mountain Recreation Area Sunday, Sept. 17. This trip is designed for both beginners and experienced climbers, and adventure leaders will guide and teach as you challenge yourself on the rock face. Registration is due by noon, Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Susan Flake, a volunteer at the Cathedral Baptist Church in Wadesboro, North Carolina, was collecting clothing from a consignment store for a fundraiser when she noticed something had fallen from a pocket of one of the items. It was a green and gold UNC Charlotte class ring.
