Yash Tadimalla is determined to make his mark. As a fourth-year Ph.D. student in computer science and sociology, he also serves as president of the Graduate & Professional Student Government. Learn why he chose UNC Charlotte, his favorite place on campus and who inspires him.

Student Announcements

  • Togetherall is a free, peer-to-peer mental health support community available to UNC Charlotte students. This online, 24/7 offering is completely anonymous. More information on Togetherall is on the health and well-being website.
  • The Health Education Leadership and Prevention Certificate program provides students with non-academic credit to participate in national prevention training opportunities on various health and well-being issues. Students can complete the registration form on the Niner Engage page. Email questions to hwb-helpcert@charlotte.edu.
  • Use your influence and make an impact! Attend a Green Dot Bystander Training from 3:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, to learn how to use your social influence to reduce sexual assault, dating violence and stalking on campus. Dinner and swag will be provided. Register here.
  • The Office of International Programs invites students to submit globally focused events scheduled during International Education Week for inclusion in the office’s online calendar and printed publications. International Education Week is Nov. 13-17.
  • Join the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the Cato College of Education for the launch of The Distinguished Scholar Series, which explores research and scholarly activities related to diversity, equity and inclusion in society. Reserve a spot to hear inaugural speakers, UNC Charlotte’s Tehia Starker Glass and Lucretia Berry, president, Brownicity, 5:30-7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, McKnight Hall, Cone University Center.
