- Learn about course and curriculum deadlines for the 2024-25 catalogs, along with other important information in this week’s Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest.
- The University is currently upgrading the outdoor warning sirens used to alert the campus community of dangerous situations. During the next couple of weeks the sirens will not be functional; however, all other means of emergency alerting remain in working order.
- Learn to support the career development of students with disabilities. RSVP for this virtual training session hosted by the Career Center.
- Join the Office of International Programs for the International Speaker Series Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Cone Center, Room 112.
- The Graduate School is seeking nominations for the First Citizens Bank Scholars Medal and the Harshini de Silva Graduate Mentor Award.
- Starting Jan. 31, 2024, inactive Google student accounts and data older than two years from January 2021 or earlier will be deleted. Take action now by moving necessary files.
- Jy Wu, infrastructure and environmental systems program director, and Carmalita Govan, computer science graduate program coordinator, were honored for their leadership in supporting graduate education Wednesday, Sept. 20.
- The Women + Girls Research Alliance invites UNC Charlotte faculty to submit proposals by Oct. 23 that contribute to a deeper understanding of mental health and wellness, economic security/mobility, and equity in the Charlotte metropolitan area, and promote positive change within communities.

- Attend a Green Dot Training from 4 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, to learn how to recognize, react and prevent interpersonal violence at Charlotte.

One of the Niner 9 will be named the Golden Niner during halftime of the Niner Nation Homecoming football game vs. Navy Saturday, Oct 14. Students can vote for the Golden Niner Oct. 5-11, at vote.charlotte.edu.
