• Time is running out for benefits-eligible employees to make their elections for the 2024 plan year. Employees are encouraged to take time this weekend to review information on the human resources website and enroll.
• The Wallis Hall tunnel/passthrough will be closed to pedestrian traffic from 7 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, through 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24. The Wallis doorways in the tunnel will remain operational, but occupants will need to exit into the courtyard.
• Practice writing prompts with ChatGPT to create instructional materials for your course. Register for this Center for Teaching and Learning workshop at 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2.
• The nomination deadline for the 2024 First Citizens Bank Scholars Medal and Harshini V. de Silva Graduate Mentor Award is 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3.
• Support student crowdfunding projects this fall.

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

• October is Relationship Violence Awareness Month, and the Center for Wellness Promotion will host “Boo’d Up: Relationship Trivia,” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Cone University Center After Hours Lounge. Food and prizes will be offered at this trivia night related to all aspects of relationships.
