- Join the Center for Leadership Science for part two of the speaker series, “Meet with Success: Evidence-Based Ways to Create Effective, Engaging and Inclusive Meetings,” facilitated by Steven Rogelberg, Chancellor’s Professor, at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City.
- Enhance your instructional practices using Canvas Studio Analytics to utilize the power of data to understand student engagement with video content. Register for this Center of Teaching and Learning workshop at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13.
- Learn how students can use AI tools, like ChatGPT, as personal learning assistants to develop self-study guides, practice assessments and more. Register for this Center of Teaching and Learning workshop at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 13.
- Think you have an idea worth sharing? Apply to give your own TEDx Talk at TEDxUNCCharlotte! Applications are open through Wednesday, Nov. 22.

- The monthly First Gen Niners support group is a welcoming space for conversation among first-generation college students about various aspects of navigating academics, family and life at UNC Charlotte with others who “get it.” The next meeting is Thursday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m. in the CAPS Building.

- Question, Persuade, Refer is a 90-minute suicide prevention training that teaches individuals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, including verbal, behavioral and situational clues. The next QPR training is from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8.
