• Rich Steele, associate vice chancellor for facilities management, has announced his departure from UNC Charlotte. A farewell reception will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 12, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center, Salons A and B.
• The Learning and Development Portal is open for faculty and staff to register for professional and personal development sessions offered in 2024—direct questions to hrtraining@charlotte.edu.
• Hiring managers: human resources has changed the New Employee Orientation schedule. Orientation will be every other Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Popp Martin Student Union. Learn more about orientation updates on the human resources webpage.
• The annual environmental health and safety compliance training has been assigned to all University faculty, staff and student workers and must be completed by Sunday, March 31. The required training can be accessed through the Learning and Development Portal.
