University counsel to talk guns on Oct. 8 ‘Live Wire’

Theatre professor to appear on today’s ‘Live Wire’
Lon Bumgarner, a faculty member in the Theatre Department, will preview some of the fall semester’s productions on the Oct. 1 installment of Inside UNC Charlotte’s “The Live Wire.” He will talk about a performance of Shakespeare’s “Othello” by artists-in-residence from the London Stage and a production of “Love the Doctor,” an adaptation of the Golden Age Spanish play by Tirso de Molina
Inside UNC Charlotte to air live webcast of International Festival
UNC Charlotte’s 38th annual International Festival is Saturday, Sept. 28, and this celebration is a chance to learn more about the people, places and cultures represented in Charlotte. Inside UNC Charlotte will provide live coverage of the festival through a webcast starting at 10 a.m. The broadcast will feature a variety of performances from inside and around the Halton Arena and interviews with participants.
Heberlig to appear on ‘Charlotte Talks’
Eric Heberlig, a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, will be a guest on WFAE’s “Charlotte Talks” on Thursday, July 18. The program, which airs live at 9 a.m. with a rebroadcast in the evening, will focus on the current North Carolina political scene.
