State official to talk about N.C.’s energy plan
Sushma Masemore, deputy assistant secretary for environment, North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), will discuss North Carolina’s energy plan at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, in EPIC, Room G256. This talk is part of the EPIC Energy Seminar Series.
Masemore oversees the DEQ energy group and leads the department’s effort to implement Gov. Roy Cooper’s executive order on climate change and clean energy. She has nearly 30 years of federal, state and industrial experience in air pollution engineering.
