CGL to host wellness event

Join the Graduate Life Fellows in the Center for Graduate Life from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 26, for a “Stress-reduction and Self-care Open House.” Visitors can enjoy yoga, guided relaxation, stress-reduction skills training and more. The event is open to the public.

The schedule of event is:

3 to 3:15 p.m. Yoga

3:20 to 3:35 p.m. Guided meditation

3:40 to 3:55 p.m. Stress-reduction and coping skills training*

4 to 4:15 p.m. Yoga

4:20 to 4:35 p.m. Guided meditation

4:40 to 4:55 p.m. Stress-reduction and coping skills training*

​*Led by Susan Funk from the UNC Charlotte Counseling Center

Listed events will occur on a rotating basis in the CGL classroom. Students are welcome to drop in to attend any or all of the events. Additionally, in the CGL lobby, there will be community wellness vendors offering five-minute chair massages, healthy snack and raw juice samples, as well as information about living well.
