Members sought for award selection committee
A new faculty honor, the UNC Charlotte Award for Teaching Excellence, will be presented for the first time in fall 2019 in conjunction with the Bank of America Award for Teaching Excellence.
This award will be presented to a non-tenure track member faculty who is currently teaching and has at least five years of teaching service at the University.
The Office of Academic Affairs is currently seeking nominations for five open committee slots on the Teaching Excellence Awards Committee; this newly expanded committee will review nominations and select the recipients of both the UNC Charlotte Award for Teaching Excellence and the Bank of America Award for Teaching Excellence.
Any full-time faculty member, including lecturers, clinical, teaching and research faculty are invited for nomination; self-nominations welcome.
Email the nominee’s name and department to offacafr@uncc.edu by Monday, Sept. 10.
