Wide receiver to participate in 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl
Charlotte 49ers wide receiver Grant DuBose will participate in the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl. He was named to the National Team, which will play the American Team at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, in Mobile, Alabama. The Reese’s Senior Bowl will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
DuBose is the third 49ers player all-time to be selected to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, joining current NFL stars Larry Ogunjobi (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Nate Davis (Tennessee Titans).
In 2022, DuBose earned Second Team All-Conference USA honors after garnering honorable mention in 2021. In his two years with the 49ers, he caught 15 touchdown passes, which ranks third in school history. He became the fourth 49er to surpass 1,500 career receiving yards with 1,684. He put up 892 receiving yards in 2021 and 792 in 2022. Both numbers rank in the 49ers top six single-season performances. His nine TD catches in 2022 tied the 49ers’ single-season school record.
Prior to playing at Charlotte, DuBose started his collegiate career at Miles College in Alabama.
