Ventureprise’s 49er iChallenge Idea Pitch is an opportunity for all UNC Charlotte students to showcase their business or research ideas and receive the tools and resources to work on their entrepreneurial venture.Each student or team will have two minutes to pitch, which should include the problem identified, who is affected by the problem and the proposed solution.

John David Smith, Charles H. Stone Distinguished Professor of American History at UNC Charlotte, will sign his new book, “Dear Delia: The Civil War Letters of Captain Henry F. Young” at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Barnes and Noble, Popp Martin Student Union. The bookstore will offer a 10 percent discount on the publication.
