Graduate School accepting nominees for Reynolds Leadership Award
The Thomas L. Reynolds Leadership Award will be bestowed for the first time this spring; the award will honor excellence in graduate program administration and will be presented annually to a graduate program director (GPD) or graduate program coordinator (GPC). Recipients will be selected by a committee of graduate faculty and students. The award recipient will receive $1,000 and an engraved plaque and will have his or her name engraved on a perpetual trophy.
In launching the award, Dean Reynolds said, “Graduate program directors and coordinators track and manage students while implementing programs and services to promote their success, all this while managing enrollment. This is a big job, and doing it well deserves recognition and praise.”
Information on the award criteria is on the web. Submit nominations using the Reynolds Leadership Award Form. The deadline is Friday, March 15.
